Governor Phil Murphy made the proclamation during the inaugural American Music Honors event, which was presented by the Bruce Springsteen Archives on April 15.
Governor Murphy remarked, There have been 14 administrations in New Jersey since Springsteen began his musical journey. It’s hard to believe it took us this long.

Springsteen and the E Street Band are on hiatus as Bruce Springsteen undergoes treatment for symptoms related to peptic ulcer disease. All remaining E Street Band performances scheduled for September have been postponed.
